Stewart Winter Fun
Saturday we went to the Stewart cabin which is located on the Stewart farm just south east of Cranston near Kimball. We meet up with Papa & Nana Stewart and had a fun filled day roasting hot dogs on the wood burning fire, quading, snowmobiling, making smores and just having fun with family. We had a great winter day.

Weekly Update: Our Canadian Adventure
We've been keeping busy since Josh has been back into the studying routine. Lincoln has Swimming Lessons on Monday mornings, Lacey has Gymnastics on Wednesday mornings, I help my mom out with her day home through out the week, and spending time with family. We are enjoying being back in Canada but we do miss the heat and our island friends. Yes our tans are slowly fading but the memories we made aren't. Our two small Caribbean island that we called home while Josh attended Med. school will always have a place in our hearts. We had some great times there, along with some hard times but we made some great memories that we will cherish.
Here's a few things that we have done this past week.
Bathing our babies in a bubble bath for the letter B. It was lots of fun and a great activity that went along with the letter b.
The kids love real bath tubs but they also like having a bath in the sink. Something about it that makes bath time so fun. Maybe it's cause they are use to having a bath in their little red Caribbean tub.
Plus adding measuring cups, measuring spoons and what every else we can find in the kitchen cupboard to play to make it fun.
All ready for church in our Sunday best.
Winter Wonderland
Playing in the snow is snow much fun especially for Lincoln and Lacey. We are experiencing a whole new season. St Maarten was a eternal summer. While Canada has 4 season and we were lucky to come back in winter. Which was kinda fun as we haven’t got to experience winter for over 20 months. Minus the temperature shock. Lacey was 7 months when we left so she would have never remember winter or snow. Lacey loves eating the snow when we are out side. Lincoln has always loved being out side so being bale to go play in the snow out side is right up his alley.
Frozen Day
The movie Frozen is one popular movie right now. It’s Lacey’s favourite, she can watch it over and over. Lincoln does like the move but isn’t into watching it one after another. We had a fun Frozen day with the Day Home friends. It was lots of fun. Nana Yamamoto made all the kids sock Olaf’s. We played in snow with Frozen figurines, made snow globes and fun with our friends.

Planting Flowers
Home Depot holds a kids craft day once a month and we got these cute little planners. These cute little planters gave us the perfect opportunity to get together and plant some flowers in them with Nana & Papa Thomas (Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Thomas). We had a fun afternoon hanging out in the parkade at Nana & Papa Thomas Condo. It was the perfect place to plant some flowers and get a bit messy while having fun. Lincoln and Lacey loved planting their flowers and getting to know their great grandparents a bit more.

Getting Into The Swing Of Things
We really miss the warm Caribbean weather and our island friends. Like REALLY miss our island friends. Our island friends were families who were going through the same thing as us. We spent a lot of time with them and they became our family while we were on St Maarten. It’s kinda weird to be home since we have been away for so long. We kinda miss the island life but we are so enjoying the Canadian life style so much more. We missed the comforts of home. It’s nice to be around family again. Our time in Canada we will be staying at Nana & Papa’s house as we will only be here 4-6 months. Our house in Coulee Creak that we lived in before our Carribbean Adventure that we owned is officially sold. For our time in the Caribbean we still owned the house, Josh's brother rented it from us while they saved up for a down deposit. When we got back to Canada we signed all the papers. It's sad to let go of our house as we loved that house. Time to make a home somewhere else.

At the moment we are staying at Nana & Papa Yamamoto's house as we are trying to save as much money as we can. The kids love having the Day Home friends come each day to play with.

Addison and Lincoln.
Lacey is at a stage where she loves being independent which is great but at times is also painful. She's growing up and we can't stop that. She's a fun little girl to be around and always knows what she wants.
