Lacey: 10 months

I can't even tell you what a special part of our family this little sweetheart is! She's spunky, she's snuggly,  and is a bundle of joy and a delight in our lives! She reminds us so much of Lincoln at this age, with everything she does; her laugh, her cry and her boisterous attitude, she's just more girly.
She makes me smile everyday and I'm so grateful for our little Lacey.

We are thinking this girl is going to be a daddy's girl. When daddy's home that all she wants.
She (at 9.5 months) started waving to dad as he leaves for school each morning, even though she is whining as he walks away. She smacks her lips... which Lincoln taught her (as well as her little rar). She can also make kissing sounds. She is now pointing at everything (with her pointer and thumb). She knows how to clap. She's a pro and walking along things.... She's starting to take some steps now, max we have seen is 7 so far. So it will not be long till she's on the move. This girl has a temper and sure knows how to scream when she wants something. She is usually happy and smilling. Lacey's the perfect beach baby, she loves the sandy beach, a little to much at times... she never stops trying to eat the sand, and she also loves swimming in the ocean.

(Randome side note)
-Watermelons-
You would think living in the caribbean means you can eat as much fresh fruit as you want, your wrong. Thats what I thought too. Fresh produce here is expensive and it's hit and miss with whats available as it all depends what comes in on the shipment.... Any who! Lets get to the point I'm trying to make. We gave in and bought a watermelon. We paid $19.00, for a basketball size one. Ya, I know we are crazy! We really wanted one. It was Lacey's first time trying watermelon. She fell in love with it. She sucks all the juice out of it and then she eats it. she gets so excited when she sees it and would not stop eating it. We are hoping St. Maarten has more fresh produce available and is not so expensive. I miss our Costco shoppin trips!
