Christmas Holidays

Christmas holidays were great. It was nice to be able to have some family time while Josh took a break from study. It was a much needed break/ family time for everyone. Lacey loved that daddy didn't have school and could just stay home every day with us and all day.

Here's Lacey sitting by the heater  trying to stay warm and I was asking her if the heater was warm and Lincoln replied " what's a heater?" Crazy to think my kids don't know what a heater is. That's what island living does to you.

Lincoln LOVES the snow and playing outside. So we tried to go outside as much as we could. Lucky it warmed up a bit so we weren't freezing too much.

Lincoln makes playing in the snow that much more fun by bring his dinosaurs out in the snow and a hammer to chip away at the hard iced snow. Plus Nana Yamamoto came out to give him sleigh rides.

Lacey baking cooking with Nana Yamamoto. We are loving being close to the grandparents.

Love my little girl in her bunny slippers from Nana Harker. Trying to stay warm in the winter wonderland.

More fun in the snow with Lincoln.

Here's playing outside with Papa Yamamoto.  Snow is as fun as sand. Lincoln makes snow angels and says “ look the snow angel has a bum crack.”  Silly boy.

Lacey loves her dolls and baby diaper bag. Practising to be a mom one day.

The things Lincoln and Lacey say sure keep us entertained. Here's a few things that they have said recently:

Lincoln was at church in his primary class (sunday school class) and he spilled his glass of water onto his snowman napkin. Lincoln's response to this happening was "Olaf melted." Lincoln sure has a good sense of humour.

Lincoln was looking around for his juice and said " where's my juice?"
Lacey replied " I drank it ( then waited a few seconds)... yummy."

One night Lincoln and Lacey were playing with a play phone with Josh. Lacey said " pap on the phone ( handing the phone to daddy)." Josh pretends to talk to papa on the phone and says "papa says its bedtime." Lincoln grabs the phone from Josh and says " papa says it's bed time for daddy."

Josh wanted to have a pop one day and he didn't want the kids to have some so he grabbed a mug and put his pop in there to hide it. Sneaky Hey! Lacey says  asked dad what he was drinking, he said hot chocolate which she isn't a huge fane of. Lacey' replied "no daddy, pop." Smart little girl.

Lincoln was making a telescop out of his hands saying he could see better when he does that. He said I can see islands, I can see St Maarten and… cole bay. Wish were were that close so we could go visit our friends. I love his imagination. We bring St Maarten up often as I don't want the kids to forget St Maarten but they haven't asked to go home.
