We (Josh, Lincoln and I) joined a group of students that Josh is in the nursing program with and hiked Turtle mountain (Frank Slide) with them. Turtle mountain is a challenging hike as it’s step pretty much the whole way up. There was some pretty amazing views of the Crossnest Pass and of Frank Slide. After climbing we now understand why this mountain is so unstable.
The town of Blairemore and Crossnest Pass Mountain behind Lincoln.
The summit of Tuttle mountain. Lincoln thought it was pretty cool that there was still snow at the top and now understand why as it was really windy and cold.
Found a teepee on our way up.
View of Frank Slide from the top of Tuttle mountain.
On our way home we stoped by Lundbreck Falls. Due to the large amounts of snow this past winter the falls were more full then normal.
It was a great day that we got to spent just with Lincoln. Don't get me wrong I love all three our kids but I believe that it's very important to spend one on one time with each of them. So we split of for the day, Lacey got to spend the day with Nana and Papa Stewart camping and geocaching. Oliver
got to spend the day with Nana and Papa Yamamoto.
