Party Time!

We had Lincoln's birthday party on Saturday May 31. We choose Saturday, as it was the first Saturday right after block exams, so Josh was able to be here for the fun. I love being a mom and planning parties. I love seeing them happy. Lincoln choose a plane party. He hasn't really been into the Disney Plane movie a whole bunch, as compared to just planes. I'm sure living on a small island where we hear planes fly over multiple times a day has something to do with his fasciation with planes. Also going to Maho Beach to watch the planes arrive on St Maarten has always been a big hit while living on St. Maarten. We choose a red and blue planes theme.  I was able to pull off a fun planes party for Lincoln on a cheap budget. Lincoln had a great time with his friends.

Lincoln wanted to rearrange the furniture and make our living room like a plane, so we did.

We had a stamp center where they could put stamps on their Pass Ports for their travel destination.

We had "Pack Your Suitcase Race". The kids had to take a empty carry-on, race to the items that needed to be packed, pack their suit case and run back to the finish line. They had so much fun with this race.

We made these Straw Planes. They fly amazingly well and fast.


We also created planes out of clothespins and popsicle sticks and let the kids decorate them.

Present time! Lincoln was spoiled, he got super hero figures, skipping rope, a 'under the sea' book, a airplane, bubbles and a badminton set.

We went and swam at our pool to end the party!

The party treat bags were the Baggage Claim. I also made signs that said Security Check Point, Now Boarding, Welcome Aboard, and Inflight Meal.

Lincoln had an amazing time with his friends. It was a great party.
