Weekly updates: Chirstmas crafts, PJ party, Twist N' Shake, Santa...

We have family coming tomorrow, Josh's parents and sister Sara. So excited!!! It came so fast.... Well it's been 8 months since we've seen them. Which has felt like forever... But at the same time it has gone fast in some ways, with trying to get settle on St. Eustatius, looking forward to my mom and Byron coming. Then having to move islands. Getting settled and learning a new island. Then looking forward to my dad and brother's visit, then getting ready for Christmas and then the Harker's visit is here. We are not coming home to Canada for Christmas. We are having a Caribbean Christmas, our one and only one away from home and family gets to come to us :)

I'm also more the ready to have my husband back. 4 more days!!! It's been a long semester...without seeing Josh much. I've learned to some how keep busy at night after I put the kids to bed, by finishing cleaning up, house chorus, blogging while josh is at school studying. I miss Josh like crazy! But at the same time I think I've handle the not seeing him a whole lot pretty good. The kids do pretty good with how little we see him but this past week has been hold on the both of them. Lincoln cries each night for daddy to come home and Lacey will sit at the front door and hold her shoes when Josh is getting really in the morning and will burst into tears when he leaves. Lacey and Lincoln loves their dad so much and some days it's hard not having him around as much as we would like. We are all looking forward to a break and some much needed family time.

heres what we've been up to this past week..
We have been so busy with doing Christmas crafts this last bit. Lincoln loves his crafts and displaying them around the house. It's begging to look like Christmas with out the snow. You might have noticed Lincoln'd hurt head. He crashed on his bike. It was a tiny cut, but sure did bleed a lot and wouldn't let me put a bandaid on it yet, se we started a craft to take his mind off of it. We now have a helmet for him, thanks to Nana Yamamoto.

Lacey even got to take part on making marshmallow snowman. She LOVES crafts!.. and gets so EXCITED and PROUD of herself from her accomplishments and being included in craft time.

We also got a Real Christmas Tree. I can't remember the last time we got one growing up, but this year it was the only kind that made sense, since we would only be here for one Christmas. It actually feels alike Christmas in our little house, well kinda till you look out side and see the palm trees and there is no snow. Crazy thing is the Christmas tree we bought is from Ontario Canada. They came all the way from back home. I'm actually loving a real Christmas tree, I love the scent it gives off. Lincoln refers to our tree as our Christmas. He was so proud of himself as he picked our tree out all by him self. All our decorations are home made. I'm not spending any money on orterments this year. We made a paper chain, strung popcorn, and made craft to hang on the tree. More pictures of the tree to come.

We had a PJ Movie Party with friends. The kids had lots of fun watching Christmas movie and eating popcorn and treats.

 Matching blonde twin boys.

The Blue Mall in Cupe Coy has a play centre called Shake N' Twist that the kids love. This was our rescind time going. It's nice that Lacey can explore and have fun to while the big kids have the time of there life. We also lucked out and Santa was coming to the play center when we were there.

Lincoln was so excited to see Santa. Where Lacey was very interested in Santa and watched him the whole time, but wasn't impressed to sit on his lap. Lacey knows how to say "ho ho ho". It's pretty cute!

It's been quite raining this last week. But when it raisin here its usually for max 30 mins down poor then it hot again. Lincoln loves playing in the rain. when it rains it get more humid and hotter.

Lincoln's puppy houses. He knows how to have fun after a grocery trip.

Lacey loves playing with the wooden trains, good thing Christmas is coming because she doesn't have many girl toys here.

A little beach time to cool off.

Here's a land crab. These land crabs live in our fate community and they dig holes into the ground. They remind me of gofers back home. This one was the biggest I've seen so far. He's claw was the size of my hand and he was at least 12 inches wide or wider.

Lacey snacking while Lincoln plays in the pool.

Thats all for this weeks post!
