Lincoln has had an amazing year with Mrs DeJong and he's sad for it to be over.

Stake Man's Camp

Our Stake holds a Stake Man's come ever year. Lincoln was pretty pumped to be going camping with no girls allowed. It was a good opportunity for Lincoln to have some one on one time with Josh and it sounded like they had lots of fun.

Father's Day 2016

It's a great privilege watching my husband/best friend be a dad to our three children. I love the special relationship you've built with each one of them and the love you have for them. Your an a amazing dad, the best I could ever ask for, for our children. I love seeing how much our children love you in return. From Lacey's good-bye hugs when you leave for work in the morning. How Oliver's face lights up when he hears your voice.  And how Lincoln just loves hanging out with you doing guys stuff. Thanks for always giving your all for us. You always know how to make the best out of what ever life throws at us. I love you and the dad you've become to our children. Thanks for everything. - Love you always Kayla

Oliver's Back Update

Oliver's back has healed up amazedly well from his spinal surgery he had at one day old. After having to in the prone position for the first 11 days of his life. He was then allowed to be on his back. We thought for sure we'd have to limit the time he was on his back, but the doctors said we didn't have to. Oliver was very blessed to have his back heal up with no complications. His scar on his back is still quite red, which is known as healthy scar tissue. Oliver's plastic surgeon said over time the red color will fade to a more normal skin color. Oliver's back doesn't seem to be sore or bother him.

The bottom two pictures show how Oliver's feet curl down. They use to be more curled then they are now. But with physio stretches  that we do daily (usually at diaper changes) they seem to be a little less tight. In the bottom right picture you can see how Oliver's left leg likes to tuck up to the side. Which has also improved a bit with physio.

St Mary's Camping

We visited Nana & Papa Harker out at St Mary's Campground. It was losts of fun minus the crazy winds, so we didn't get to play at Wally's beach. Lincoln was pretty bummed out. Next time!



When Scott and Josh were young, they would snare gophers and walk it around like a pet. They were pretty excited to teach the younger generation. They managed to catch one gopher, within minutes  of trying to snare one. Lincoln and Lacey that this was great having a little gopher pet.

Oliver 20 Weeks

Crazy that Oliver has been apart of our family for 5 months now. It's been an amazing 5 months and we love having him apart of our family. It can be crazy and busy but I wouldn't change anything. Life's just happier with Oliver. I love the relationship that Lincoln and Lacey have with their younger brother. They sure adore him.

Lincoln's Friends Party!

Lincoln's friends party was a lot of fun. He invited a few friends from school (Hudson, Griffin and Huxley). We all meet at Wear M Out (indoor play centre), we played for two hours then went back to our place for supper and cupcakes.  It's so fun watching Lincoln with his friends and seeing the friendships he has made with boys in his kindergarten class.
