November 2017

There is just something about the first snow fall of the season!

I love how these two can be so goofy when they are together.

Lakeview movie night!  We showed up in our pyjamas, brought our pillows and blankets for a movie night of fun. It was a great turnout for the park fundraiser.

Grocery shopping is not my favourer thing to do, so we stretch it out as far as we can and only go grocery shopping every two weeks. This is how we shop and keep three kids happy while doing it. Lincoln reads the grocery list. Lincoln grabs the food item, then passes the item to Oliver (Oliver loves grocery shopping when we let him help) in the stroller, who then passes the item to Lacey who's in the shopping cart. It's a process but they all love to help.

Mailing Santa letter 2017

Christmas is such a magical time of the year for kids. I love all the excitement that comes along with it. Lincoln and Lacey were both very exited to mail their letters off to santa this year.

Groves Christmas Lights 2017

We had a great time at the opening night of Groves Christmas Lights!!! Lincoln and Lacey have been looking forward to this night for a whole year. We live on the best street in town! We enjoyed the bonfires, hot chocolates andChristmas lights dancing to Christmas music.

Family Skate

We finally got around to going skating this winter! It was so much fun. Lincoln and Lacey are slowly catching on and Oliver loves being including in anything we are doing. We hope to do this more often.

Disney On Ice

Lacey got to go to 'Disney On Ice' with Uncle Scott, Aunt Melissa, Abigail and Isabelle.

The girls loved decorating their crowns with jewels and colouring in Princess colouring books. These two were so sweet and chatted the entire way to Calgary. We arrived in Calgary a bit early so we stopped for doughnuts and a bathroom break. We were enjoying ourselves so much that we had to rush to the show and made it with three minutes to spare!

We had fantastic seats: we were up high enough that we could see the entire show on the ice rink, yet close enough that we could see all their expressions. It was amazing how these figure skaters danced on the ice. Heights were not a limit for Rapunzel - she dangled from fabric from the top of the stadium!

The girls were were so excited for when they saw the Disney Princesses. Lacey kept asking: "Where is Elsa Auntie?" (Which was saved for the grand finale.) She wanted to see Elsa so bad that by the end just as Elsa skated onto the ice that Lacey had use to the washroom. Good thing they had a few songs with the famous Frozen characters so she still saw them!

After the show we made a trip to the Calgary Tower; which was only a few blocks away! The food was delicious and these girls were so brave walking around at the top (even though the tower swayed from the wind!!) - Post written by Aunt Melissa.

Lacey Gymnastics Fall 2017

Lacey choose to go into gymnastics this fall. Which is loved, but she also really missed dance.  Every time Lincoln had dance class, you could tell she was missing being in dance. It was fun watching her in gymnastics each week. She one who takes things seriously, is a great listener and always tries her best.

Happy 31st Birthday Josh!

There is no one else I'd rather go through life with. I’m so blessed that I’ve found my best friend as my husband and an amazing dad to our children. I appreciate all you do. I appreciate how hard you work in school. I appreciate the thought and effort that you put into our relationship. Thank you for supporting me and always being there for me. You mean everything to me. I love you with all my heart. Love always, Happy Birthday Josh!

Swimming Lessons Fall 2017

Swimming lessons are done for another session. Lincoln and Lacey are like little fish, they sure love the water. May have something to do with living in the Caribbean and spending a good chunk of our time in the pool or ocean to keep cool.

We couldn't get Oliver into swimming lessons at the same time as Lincoln and Lacey. But we were lucky that the pool allowed us to pay for the public swim admission and let Oliver swim with Josh, while the other two were in their swim lessons. Oliver loved it!
