Family Fall Pictures 2016

I am so in love with how our family pictures turned out. It was super last minute/ spur on the moment, but I am so glad we decided to go for it.  I feel so blessed to be married to such an amazing man and to have three kids together.

I'll Walk With You

On Sunday in Primary we learned a new song, I'll Walk With You. I loved it! I've never heard of it before, since I was baptized at the age of 11 and I was only in primary for 1 month. But it touched my heart. With Oliver physical limitations, one of my worries is how others will treat him. When we found out his diagnoses from his first ultrasound my biggest fear was his challenges he will face, with how others will treat him differently especially as he get into school.

We all are unique and have our differences. Some people may wear glasses or  some may need to use a walker/wheel chair. But everybody has individuality.  I hope that my biggest worry/ fear never holds Oliver back in life with being physical different. I hope that people that he comes into contact with over look his physical differences and see the sweet soul that he is.

If you don't walk as most people do,
Some people walk away from you,
But I won't! I won't!
If you don't talk as most people do,
Some people talk and laugh at you,
But I won't! I won't!
I'll walk with you. I'll talk with you.
That's how I'll show my love for you.

Jesus walked away from none.
He gave his love to ev'ryone.
So I will! I will!
Jesus blessed all he could see,
Then turned and said, "Come, follow me."
And I will! I will!
I will! I will!
I'll walk with you. I'll talk with you.
That's how I'll show my love for you.

Lincoln Lost His first tooth

Lincoln wanted this day to come since he was four. When he finally lost his tooth, he was one excited boy. His tooth began to wiggle when he was in kindergarten. In his kindergarten class there were 28 teeth lost in one year, he had 22 students in his class. Lincoln as a bit disappointed that his wasn't one of them. Over the summer his tooth slowly began to wiggle more. I loved watching him wiggle his tooth each day as he was so determine to loose a tooth. Lincoln started grade one in September and more and more of his friends were loosing their these. So he would wiggle his tooth more in hopes of loosening his tooth. One morning before school he asked me to pull it out, two little tugs and it was out. Lincoln was in shock when I said it was out. It finally happened! First of many. Lincoln was 13 months before he got his first tooth so it didn't surprise me when he lost his tooth a bit later then some of his friends.

Solo Parenting

Josh had a job in Medicine Hat, for five days, which turned into...... two weeks. Way too long! I was dreading Josh being away and when Josh wasn't done the job after the five days like he thought he would have been, I wasn't too happy that he had to stay there till he was done. The time away was hard on me, but it also was very hard on the kids too. They all missed their dad a lot. They would ask multiple times a day, " when's dad coming home?" We phone dad daily. We were all so glad to have dad home after a long two weeks.
