Grade 1 - Mrs Latham

Lincoln's sad for grade one to end. He loved spending his days with such a phenomenal teacher. Lincoln loved Mrs Latham. She was such an amazing teacher. She was fun, kind, and always went out and above for her student...The influence of a good teacher can never be erased.

Here's some of Lincoln's grade one art work he did this year. I love seeing how proud he is of his art work. You can tell he's put a lot of effort into each master piece.

St Mary's Campground

Another great camping weekend spent with friends! We camped with one of my childhood friends, Sara and her family. We had a great time. The kids all played great together. We stayed up way to late talking around the camp fire. Defiantly a great time had by all.

Playing at Wally's beach sure makes us miss the Caribbean. Lincoln loves making sand castles. Lacey found it a bit cool, so she kept her sweater on, almost the whole time we were at the beach. She's sure my Caribbean baby.

Oliver's first beach experience was a hit. He loved the sand. We even made him his own sand chair sand chair so he didn't need to use his bamboo chair.

I know in my heart that you're always giving everything you've got for our family. Thanks for always putting our children first. You're an amazing dad ! You push us to be better each day. You help us see the good things in each day. You show us how to enjoy each day. You aren't afraid to help around our house, making our crazy life a little less crazy. Thanks for being a great role model for our children. We love you so much! Happy Fathers Day!

Gold Spring Campground

First camping trip on the season and first time camping at this campground. We camped at Gold Spring Campground that is located near Milk River with Scott & Melissa's family. We had so much fun. The weather could have been better, it was a bit windy/chilly but other then that it was great. It was nice that they had two parks for the kids to play at. Since it was so windy on Saturday we headed to Writing On Stone to explore for part of the day. We had so much fun and it was actually nice that it wasn't too hot while hiking the hoodoos. Glad our first camp on the season was a success!

Hope Classic

We went to 'The Hope Classic For Spina Bifida & Hydrocephalus' today!

Lincoln amazed us by doing his first 5K run in 28.21 minutes. So proud of him!

We had a great time visiting with other Spina Bifida families. Here is Ethan's family. I met Ethan's mom, Nikki through the Maternal Fetal Medicine Centre, where I got my ultrasounds done in Calgary when I was pregnant with Oliver. We were able to keep in touch through social media. We then met  first met in person when Oliver was in the Alberta Children's Hospital for his shunt surgery (July 2016). I've enjoyed staying in contact with Ethan's family.

We also got together in the afternoon with some new SB friends who just started their new journey. Brought back a lot of memories of when I was pregnant and dealing with all the unknowns. It was a very overwhelming time when we had to have faith that things were going to be okay. I love all the amazing families we get to meet! Had an awesome Saturday!
