Magrath Spill Gates

We also lucked out with nice weather on Saturday morning so we thought we better get out side and enjoy the beautiful weather as a snow storm was moving in later Saturday afternoon. Plus we love exploring places around us. So we took a walk from the fish pond to the Magrath spill gates. Lincoln rode his bike most of the way. We had a fun morning together.

Lacey loves her daddy. She was so comfortable on his shoulders that she almost fell asleep.

Nana Harker joined us on our adventure.

Here's Lincoln and Lacey throwing sticks into the water. The water level was very low.

Harker Easter

For the Easter weekend we spent it out at Nana and Papa Harker's house in Magrath. With having three grandparents so close, Lincoln and Lacey get spoiled. They got to make sugar cookies again for a second time with Nana Harker on Saturday. Plus they received Easter basket from Nana and Papa Harker.

Stewart Easter

On Good Friday we went out to Cardston to visit with Nana and Papa Stewart and cousins. We were lucky that we got some good weather and were able to be out side all afternoon. Nana and Papa Stewart's back yard is quite big and it has spot for a bon fire. Lincoln and Lacey learned how to make a fire. Lincoln loved learning how to use the axe to cut the fire wood. The easter bunny eve left some eggs for a Easter egg hunt.

Practising making a fire.

Rolling Eggs

Another tradition that we do after colouring our Easter eggs is taking them to be rolled down a hill.We had a lot of fun, but Lacey wasn't to sure of it at first, she was pretty protective of her eggs at first. Lincoln loved chasing his eggs down the hill and trying to catch them. This year we went to the sugar bowl and into the coulees.

Easter Eggs

I love the tradition of colouring eggs for Easter. Lincoln and Lacey sure loved it too. They both loved mixed colors to create new colors. We had some pretty colourful hands by the time we were done.

Easter Cookies

We made some Easter bunny cookies for our dayhome Easter party. Icing cookies and putting sprinkles on never gets old. We love doing it for each holiday.

Here's the many faces of Lincoln and Lacey. They both love being silly and love having fun.

Gymnastics

Lacey took part in the 'Parent and Tot 2-3 year old Gymnastics class' through the University. Lacey loved Gymnastics. She followed the instructions from her coaches well and loved being independent. She would always say "I do myself". Next Lacey will be doing Swim Lessons in May .
